AEC and ESIC launch training programme

On 21 March, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., at the premises of the Spanish Association of Footwear Component Companies (AEC), in the Elche Business Park, a training breakfast will be held exclusively for AEC associates. The event, held in collaboration with ESIC Business & Marketing School, aims to address the crucial issue of business digitalisation.

In an increasingly digitalised world, adapting to new technologies is becoming essential for the survival and growth of companies. Aware of this reality, AEC and ESIC have designed a 150-hour training programme, which will be fully subsidised for AEC member companies and will take place in April.

According to ESIC’s recommendations, a company’s digital transformation project requires a team with leadership and entrepreneurial skills and the support of management, as well as knowledge of the business and the processes to carry out this transformation. The team must also have a practical approach and agile action methodologies to quickly and consensually execute the right decisions for an efficient global digital transformation.

Before embarking on a digital transformation process, companies must be sure that everyone in the company believes in and understands the benefits that digitalisation can bring. Therefore, only companies that are digitised will be able to address the imminent present and future changes that the industrial sector will be forced to undertake.

The breakfast will serve as a space to present this training programme and will include the participation of the outstanding speaker Víctor Orizaola, who will offer a masterclass entitled ‘Digitalisation in the footwear sector’, providing insights and key strategies to tackle this transformation process.
